Description
The standard wire clip has two curls to hold braided barbed/smooth wire. The dual curl prevents accidental release from livestock and wildlife pressures but still allows the wire to move freely. The light clip is designed to uncoil if ample pressure occurs without breaking the wire. The heavy clip usually will not release the wire prior to wire breakage. Most experienced users find replacing a light clip far better than splicing wire and only use heavy clips on the top-line wire in heavy wildlife areas.
